In addition, the focus of the Auxiliary is the charitable support of Americanism, Child Welfare, Veteran Rehabilitation and Community Service outreaches. Some of these activities include participating in various parades and ceremonies honoring veterans, visiting veterans hospitals and nursing homes, supporting women and children shelters through donations of needed supplies and money, and the sponsoring of many seasonal holiday parties for children. At the present time, the Auxiliary is involved with several projects to support our troops in all branches now serving overseas in various locations including Iraq.

The NCUSA Auxiliary are committed to honoring those who have given of themselves to protect this country. We accomplish this by joining together as 'shipmates' to serve those less fortunate in our own communities.
